Forbes collaborated with Statista, a market research firm, to create the annual list. 60,000 Americans who worked for organisations with at least 1,000 employees were surveyed, and the results showed which businesses were the most committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Hard Rock launched its Women in Leadership initiative in 2016, offering junior and senior executives mentorship along with resources and training to help them advance in their careers. More than one thousand female team members have taken part in the programme and/or an educational conference held by the brand since its launch.

According to a statement from the group, "Hard Rock has significantly grown its female leadership year over year, even amid the pandemic." "The number of women in leadership roles has increased, with a 31% increase for managers and directors and a more than 26% increase for vice president and above roles.

"Female presence on executive committees has doubled in only the past year, and most of these appointments are made by women of colour. New workforce demographic dashboards went live in January 2022, giving the business the ability to monitor and report on employee engagement and diversity progress.
